:new: "Triumphant Carthage Eagels"
Tunisia are the new Champions of Africa. A 2-1 win over Morocco in the final on Saturday sent the whole country into a jubilant mood as Tunisia secured their first ever win in the African Cup of Nations. Striker Ziad Jaziri clinched victory by tapping in a loose ball following a fumble by the Moroccan keeper six minutes into the second half. Once again, PUMA team Tunisia showed the great composure, determination and organization, which has turned them into such a difficult side to break down. Roger Lemerre's side dug in deep and made it a very frustrating afternoon for a similar passionate Moroccan side. The Stade Rades stadium erupted into joy as referee Falla Ndoye blew his whistle four minutes into injury time. Tunisia enters the history books as the 13th country to win the African Cup of Nations. Congratulations!

" PUMA endeavors not only to be the most desirable Sportlifestyle brand in the world, but also to be the first truly virtual sports company.

We will achieve our goals by continuing to do what we have always done – harnessing our resources and experiences to provide our consumers with innovative products that successfully fuse the creative influences from the world of sport, lifestyle and fashion."

"The history of PUMA is a journey through the greatest sporting achievements of the last fifty years. PUMA has accompanied Pelé through World Cup finals, Boris Becker to the grass courts of Wimbledon and Linford Christie to an Olympic gold. It is a history of the constant search for improved performance through technological innovation and symbiotic work with top sports performers. Rudolf Dassler founded PUMA in 1948 in Herzogenaurach, Germany. Direct business competition from his brother Adolf created the environment that was to charge the modern sports trade for decades. "
